Driving Directions From the South

By Train
Take I-93 Northbound to Exit 23 “Gov’t Center. North End, Aquarium, Quincy Market.” The ramp joins surface streets at North St. Follow the sign to“Aquarium”, to the left. This loops around 180° and puts you on Surface St. Go three blocks and turn left onto Milk St, which will take you to the Harbor Garage or around to 255 State Street.

Driving Directions From the North
From I-93 Southbound, take Exit 24A-B “Government Center”. Take the right fork (24-A), then stay left. At the traffic light, turn onto Atlantic Avenue. Follow Atlantic Ave. 3 lights to the intersection with Milk Street. Go left on Milk Street, which will take you to the Harbor Garage or around to 255 State Street.

Driving Directions From the West/Mass Pike (Interstate 90)
Take I-90/ Mass Turnpike to I-93 North. Exit 23 “Gov’t Center. North End, Aquarium, Quincy Market.” The ramp joins surface streets at North St. Follow the sign to“Aquarium”, to the left. By Boat
Harbor Express Commuter Boats are available from Hull, Quincy, and Logan Airport. The Boston arrival point is at Boston Dock behind the Marriott Hotel on Long Wharf, which is immediately adjacent to the Aquarium.

Walking Directions

South Station (0.6 mile)
Walking from South Station, turn right onto Atlantic Avenue. Follow Atlantic Avenue for 0.6 mile then turn right onto State Street. The entrance to 255 State Street will be located on your right, between State Street Provisions and Legal Seafoods.

North Station (0.9 mile)
From North Station, head southeast toward Causeway Street. Turn left onto Causeway Street and follow for 0.1 mile. Turn right onto Haverhill Street and follow for 0.1 mile, then turn left onto Valenti Way. In approximately 350 feet turn right onto N. Washington Street. Take a slight left to continue onto Cross Street. Follow Cross Street for 0.4 mile, which will eventually become Atlantic Avenue. Turn left onto State Street. The entrance to 255 State Street will be located on your right, between State Street Provisions and Legal Seafoods.
